Nominate A Model Community
The National Center for Frontier Communities wants your help in identifying and honoring successful frontier communities. These are the communities that have overcome the odds and created strong health care systems and healthy local economies.
All nominated communities will be listed on the
Honor Roll on the website.
From time to time, exemplary communities will be the subjects of case studies presented in the
Innovations series of monographs.
Criteria:
Describe how the project:
- enhances the quality of life
- keeps people and resources in the community
- fosters ongoing leadership development
- influences the economic health of the community
- might be replicated in other communities
Nominations should be made or supported by a state Office of Rural Health, Agricultural Extension Office, or Rural Economic Development Council.
